I press the switch (either for lifting or lowering the blind) but there is no movement on my blind?

I press my remote control (either for lifting or lowering the blind) but there is no reaction from my blind?
Ensure that the power is turned on. If yes, go check the battery in the remote control hand transmitter. Change it to see if it is due to battery exhaustion. Check if anyone had drop the remote control from a height. If after checking the power supply and changing the battery, the blind still does not work, call your installer for a check on the system.
After continuously lowering and lifting the blind up for a while, it stop moving. What happened?
All Somfy’ motors have a thermal sensor to protect the lifespan of the motors and to prevent overheating. As a guide, the motors will cease to function once it had been continuously used for about 3-4 minutes. When the blind stop functioning, let the motor cool down for about 15-20 minutes before trying to activate the blind again.
The blind, when activated, cannot stop. What happened?
If the blinds is moving but cannot stop, the likely causes of the problem could be the limit settings in the motor or the loosening/breaking of a crown used to regulate the turns of the motor. Call your installer for a check on the system.
The blind is extremely noisy when activated. What is the problem?
